CHEST Position of patient: Supine headfirst. Explain the patient about breath hold & procedure. Supporting pad fix just below the legs. Centering on D4 Vertebra. Offer the patient ear plugs & ear protector or Music If necessary, have the patient raise his/her arms above his/her head Centering over xiphoid process of sternum. Sequence- Survey three planes Sequence- Coronal T2, T2FS Axial –T2,T2FS,T1,BTFE Sag –T2, T2 FS All sequence performs with Respiratory Trigging. Axial- Plan axial on coronal or sagittal image using position of block across the chest and check position of block in other two planes. Coverage - entire lung from apex to costophrenic sinus.
